Industrial Computing is a twenty year old company providing a range of industrial and military computer products for a range of users including OEMs. The company builds specialized LCD flat panel display monitors, ruggedized portable laptop, notebook, tablet, and lunchbox computers, and wall mount, rack mount, and panel mount computer systems.
Industrial Computing’s displays range in size from 6.4" to 21" flat panel displays for military and industrial applications. A wide range of standard, custom, and OEM housings and configurations are available, including open frame, rack mounts, touch-screens, high brightness sunlight readable, and ruggedness ranging up to Mil Spec. Products are qualified to MIL-STD-167, MIL-STD-901, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810F, and others as required.
The company’s ruggedized portables are the Guardian™ series. These consist of the Guardian A notebook with optional ISA and PCI expansion slots, the Guardian Lite series of notebooks, and the Guardian 310 tablet PC. All these models meet NEMA 12/4 standard for shock, vibration, etc. as well as MIL-STD-810F, and MIL-STD-461E. The rugged lunch-box style Guardian II and Guardian III have three to five-full-length expansion slots.
Industrial Computing builds products for major aerospace, automotive, industrial controls and other firms, major financial institutions, research facilities, and all branches of the US military. In addition to its current range of standard products, it builds display products to specification for a large number of OEMs and system integrators.
Industrial Computing industrial and military LCD monitors and computer systems are usually built or configured to a specific requirement. Many of our LCD monitors and rugged computer systems are panel mount or rack mount configurations, or are on special mounts. We are experienced in meeting special requirements for industrial and military monitors and systems. Being experienced in building NEMA, Mil-Spec, and industrial monitors and computer systems, we are a very cost-effective source for these products.
